♥ Thank you very much for the pleasure of your visit! ♥

Who is this Bag Lady? You may wonder…

As the only non-athletic one in a family of six, I buried my nose in books, reveling in stories that transported me around the globe. Fortunately, my fantasy world became reality when a girlfriend invited me to backpack across Europe the summer after graduating college. That experience forged wanderlust deep within.

Upon my return, in order to make my daddy proud, I went into sales, working for such companies as Enterprise Leasing and Club Med Vacations. Then, at the ripe old age of 29, I awoke with a start! What was I doing stranded in the fluorescent glow of an office cubicle — with very limited vacation time — daydreaming my life away??

And so it was, I became a flight attendant. With mind-boggling travel benefits and ample time off to enjoy them, the only thing missing was someone who just so happened to possess an adventurous spirit and flexible schedule to boot — yeah, right. Earth to air hostess, you may want to dial it back a notch!!

The years passed, and I’d nearly given up on my outlandish quest, when this dapper flyboy strolled on my airplane…

Twenty blissful years later, we’ve visited nearly 90 countries and count our blessings for the bounteous spirits populating every journey.

I sincerely hope my Baggage Belt Contemplations inspire your heart to dance a bit 💞 and that you greet every sunrise with the ravenous curiosity of a child!! 😘

This world is a humbling place full of inspirational people

I will be forever grateful for the opportunity

To venture down her countless pathways.

  4. Hi there – just to let you know that I have tagged/nominated your blog for an award. Details at http://tinylessonsblog.com/2013/03/18/1489-words-of-thanks/. Congratulations!

  5. I know it is weird to write here, but I can`t find any email information. Anyways, I was wondering if you could give me some hints on efficient packing and other useful travel tips less well traveled bloggers may not know about? You can email me at thevgreatvzambini@gmail dot com if you don`t want to write a long (or short, that would be helpful too!) list here.

  6. Looking forward to your book, especially after reading and being inspired and heartened by this lovely blog. You are a treasure. xoxo

    • I’m diligently working on the rewrite and am nearly finished. It has been an incredibly humbling experience. Hard to convey how much support you have lent. Suffice to say, on the days I could muster zero creativity, I had sweet Chloe to reinvigorate my soul. “Thank you” does not properly express my gratitude…XO

      • Oh, fantastic–the (excruciating) rewriting process and nearly finishing! Yay you!! I appreciate your kind words and am THRILLED that I may have helped you at all. Your shining encouragement and simply existing radiantly out there have been such a lovely comfort and inspiration to me. In short: right back atcha. xo

    • Thank you for your thoughtfulness and so sorry for the delay in my response. I have been a bit of a journeying soul as of late, searching for what?? — I’m not exactly certain. I’ve missed being here and look forward to returning… 🚣

  13. Thanks for all the likes and the follow. You have a great blog that I look forward to reading more of. 🙂

  14. What a fantastic path you’ve chosen far above the earth 🙂 Sharing your wondrous experiences acquired while on solid ground, in the soulful way you do, brings us up to the clouds. And from this view, we are reminded our emotions are not mutually exclusive – there are billions of us around the globe. If we could all remember we’re not alone, we are together in one place… The capacity for human love is more powerful than the mightiest technological sword. And your lovely blog is living testament to human compassion 🙂
