As I pack for a whirlwind tour of Ireland, Iceland, Greenland, Newfoundland, Québec City, & Montreal, I leave you with Khalil Gibran’s lovely words:

“For the breath of life is in the sunlight and the hand of life is in the wind…Forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair.” ♥ LL

  1. Your words capture travel so eloquently!

    • Thank you, Sophia! Reuniting with your loving friendship across the span of more than 30 years (!!!) was gift enough — but to have the overwhelming support of an artist extraordinaire, like yourself, propels my heart clear to the moon!!! 💝

  2. Sweet wanderlust, how you call my heart. I hope to indulge you soon. XD

Thanks Shauna for sharing the joys of travel and exploring. Have a great trip and take lots of photos to share for those of us home bound. 🙂

  3. Ah, thank you for this delicious feast of sensuousness, hope, possibility and passion…with your own inimitable ingredient of LL vibrancy! And capped with a dollop of a fave quote. Thank you, as always, LL, for your radiant inspiration. And of course bon voyage!! Love, love, love

    • Always and ever, you manage to pluck the stars from the sky and sprinkle them oh-so-generously around me, elevating my soul each and every time, while inspiring my heart in ways I cannot do alone. What I would do without your loving presence? Thank you for not making me contemplate that… Cheers to the great fortune of calling you friend!!! 💞 xoxo

    • Thank you, sweet maryrose! And after a quick trip over to your delightful blog, my heart and spirit overflow once again. I must share the Ancient Chinese Proverb from your latest post (I hope you don’t mind) because it summarizes our blogging community so succinctly… ♥

“An invisible thread connects those who are destined to meet, regardless of time, place, and circumstance. The thread may stretch or tangle. But it will never break.”

Please do , I love that proverb…someone put it on my FB page a long time ago, and it keeps coming back to me when I need it most…I like the simple circle it is in…allows flowing….
even if you sit and talk to someone in your travels at the terminals…they usually have a message for you, if not, you will repeat it to someone who needs to hear it..
it does summarize our blogging community..I had not thought of that 🙂 Thank you …
I would say I hope you have a great trip, but I am sure you will !
listen to the winds whispers, they may be from the person sitting next to you

    • My Dear Frédéric, you can copy and paste here any old time (especially Chloe’s words!!). Just thrilled by your visit. As I only write a teeny-tiny fraction compared to you, I’m off to savor your latest bounty…😘

@”Ireland, Iceland, Greenland, Newfoundland, Québec City, & Montreal…” – been everywhere, except Greenland: how is it?… 🙂

    • Merci beaucoup, Mélanie! We only stopped in Qaqortaq (the largest town in Southern Greenland), which was very remote but colorful (perhaps a good photo for a future post!) We did, however, cruise the Prince Christian Sound alongside the country and the scenery (greenery, glaciers, icebergs, waterfalls) was breathtaking! Thank you for being here and making my day!!

  11. Wow so Luggagelady means you literally travel all over the place. Yay for you! I love this photo and the orange in this photo is beautiful. I love your poem as well. What an amazing thing you do here! 😀

    • Oh my goodness! I am thrilled to have the pleasure of your sweet visit as I am a big fan (albeit, sporadic) of your beautiful blog!!! Yes, I’m a flight attendant — but…when I’m not working, I can’t seem to stay grounded. The industry perks and a traveling companion in the same business helps tremendously. Thank you for your kind words! 💖

      • Oh wow what an awesome opportunity! Yay for you! I think every girl at one time or another wanted to do your job! Keep up all the beautiful shares and posts! 💗

  12. This is such classical post and elegant. The theme, language, details is all precise!

  13. A moving post. Very meaningful. Hugs, B

  14. Aww, thanks, B — I so appreciate your kindness!! ♥
